7.2 Magnitude Earthquake struck the Mindanao Today

After several quake happened in Batangas early this month, another alarming tremendous earthquake had happened in the southern part of the Philippines today. It was reported that it struck off the coast of Mindanao island prompting a tsunami warning.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that the shock was recorded to be 7.2 but was downgraded by the US Geological Survey to 6.8 on a latter period. And the tsunami threat was cancelled. With immediate coordination of the local government, it was reported that there were no major casualties or damage occured.
